BRA’s annual heath care mission is set for April 2004
The Batey Relief Alliance will carry out its annual health care mission in the Dominican Republic from April 9 ? 18, 2004.
The purpose is to assess medical needs and provide emergency care in the areas of general medicines, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry and preventive health education in HIV/AIDS to impoverished children and their families languishing in the bateyes and other needy localities of the Dominican Republic. Free medicines and vitamins will be provided to patients to complete their short-term treatment. Follow up care will be provided at our mobile health clinic and through our member health organizations.
