To carry out its mission, Batey Relief Alliance collaborates with stakeholders from across sectors to implement social initiatives, using a holistic approach, to produce solutions to socio-economic and health challenges facing women, children and entire communities in the Americas and the Caribbean. BRA’s Special Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) helps the organization advance United Nations 2030 Agenda through the following Sustainable Development Goals: no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, decent work and economic growth and partnerships for the goals. Over a twenty-year period, the BRA Initiatives helped improve more than 2.5 million lives in Peru, Haiti, Dominican Republic and the United States.
